Coffee makes the world go round. That is why the busses we use are equipped with luxurious kitchens that house state of the art espresso machines. They will serve you with your favorite blend freshly grounded from coffee beans. If you have specific requirements for coffee equipment, we can cater for other options.
72 hours is a long time to be on the road. To make sure the teams on the bus perform as well as they can, we will have scheduled stops that will allow you to sleep. We will stop at hotels where you will be able to sleep and take a shower. The length of the nights depends on the schedule of the trip. And it might be that you and your team want to keep on working to reach your goals. That is why we will always select hotels with WIFI.
The busses we use are luxury VIP coaches. That means that you will be spending your time in nicely shaped leather seats. Seating arrangements will be determined by the goals of the trip, but will often feature four luxury seats around a table. This allows you to work closely with your team in a comfortable position.
Naturally our busses are equipped with outlets that allow you to charge your laptops, phones and camera’s. The power outlets are powered by the engine of the bus, which means that we can only charge while we are driving. But that will give you plenty of time to fill your batteries.
We will be having technology on board that will allow you to use the internet. However, do not expect it to be as fast as at your home. After all, you are on the road at full speed. We are constantly looking into new possibilities to make the internet on board faster and more reliable.
Great question. But our busses are equipped with a great climate control system and are completely cleaned at every overnight stop. This allows us to run a clean bus. On the other hand, the atmosphere on the bus is largely determined by the people on board. That is why we ask everyone to help out keeping the bus tidy. Both for yourself as well as the other participants.
There is no ‘versus’ in this combination. StartupBus runs twice a year. Once in America towards SxSW in Texas in March and once in Europe to LeWeb in Paris in December. However, the ideas behind ChallengeBus and StartupBus are very different. StartupBus gathers individuals that have no connection to each other and that have the single goal to build a startup before the end of the trip. ChallengeBus harnesses the power of the principles of traveling, confined space and limited resources for use by single organizations. ChallengeBus can run all year round to destinations set by its clients.
