Somewhere the office is hundreds of kilometres behind. The voicemail, the planning, that one meeting that's been rescheduled again: all left behind. What remains is the team, the road ahead and a deadline that can't be moved because the bus just keeps going. Precisely that difference — between a day you can postpone and a trip that doesn't allow it — is why things happen here that never get off the ground at the office.
The doors close and nobody knows yet exactly who they're going to work with. Two minutes per person to say who you are. By the time the bus hits the motorway, the teams are already formed.
Tables become desks, windows become whiteboards. There's no office to flee back to, only the next stop.
Outside, a room full of peers who've never heard the idea awaits. The first real test: does the story work outside the bus?
The moment everything was built for. One chance, before a jury from the organisation itself, sometimes joined by clients or investors.
For companies that need good ideas or watch them die in meetings. A time to build something together for real.
For challenges that require collaboration across the entire chain.
For educational institutions that want students to experience a topic by living it, not just reading about it.
For teams that want not only to design new care concepts, but to build them and compare with what already exists elsewhere.
From a twelve-hour introduction with eighty students to seventy-two-hour international build expeditions. No stock photos of smiling people: this is what actually happened.
All investments depend on the size of the group and the trip that needs to be made. The distance, travel times, type of bus and stops determine the price indication. We can only provide that after we've discussed these things together, at least in broad terms.
A minimum of 25 participants per bus is needed. Larger groups are split across multiple buses.
ChallengeBus can be deployed in different ways. In twelve hours you can do an excellent exploration expedition. In seventy-two hours there are even possibilities for an international expedition. Everything depends on the goal you want to achieve.
We only work with certified bus companies. It is important that participants on an international trip also have their own travel insurance.
